The blade is forged with FC61 steel for incredible durability, and provides a hardness level of approximately 61 on the Rockwell scale.
This knife features a Katana edge that's been hand-finished using the 3-step Honbazuke method. This traditional Japanese honing method delivers an extremely sharp cutting edge with an angle between 9 and 12 degrees.
