The food zone houses components that come in contact with water and ice and has removable parts. An antimicrobial agent on the parts slows bacteria, slime, and mold growth to facilitate cleaning. For installation next to a wall and other equipment, the Manitowoc UDF-0240A undercounter ice machine has vents in the front for air to flow in and out.
