An internal scoop holder keeps the scoop out of the ice, preventing hands from contacting ice and contaminating it. Ice melts slowly since the door is foam insulated and retains cold air. The exterior of the Koolaire K-400 ice bin has a stainless-like finish that resists corrosion.
Note: Does not produce ice. Must be paired with an ice maker head unit.
